Administration ID

Jun 20, 2011 at 5:00 PM

The gadget is fantastic, and hard to live without, but I do have one quick request.

In our environment (as I'm sure many other do too), we use administration ID's to log onto all servers, rather than our regular desktop ID's where the gadget is installed.

The gadget collects all of the information using the ID we complete within the tool - but when we double click a VM to open it in a console - VMconnect reports a permissions error.

Would it be possible to have VM connect use the credentials we embed into the server configurations of the gadget?

 Thanks in advance

I believe that is an error with how Hyper-V Manager communicated within the active directory environment.   You can double check this by trying to do that via the Hyper-V Manager tool on your desktop.

This isn't an issue with the gadget itself.
